Mission
Statement
To be
conformed to the image of Christ
and to
know Him and make Him known.
To be in
unity with all our brothers and sisters
in
Christ, in the bond of love.
To
proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people
everywhere we meet them on earth.
Our
purpose
We grow
in our relationship with Jesus Christ
through
worship and
discipleship;
We grow
in our relationship with his family
through
fellowship;
We grow
in our relationship with the world, and our neighbors,
through
evangelism and ministry.
As we
reflect on the these five areas that made the New Testament church
become so affective In the world:
Worship, Discipleship, Fellowship,
Evangelism, and Ministry.
We believe that we will fulfill
the Great Commission of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ when he
said Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world,
and preach the gospel to every creature." and in Acts 1:8 “But ye
shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and
ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea,
and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Yea
doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellence of the
knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss
of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of
the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the
righteousness which is of God by faith: That I may know him, and the
power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings,
being made conformable unto his death;” Phil 3:8-10
My Prayer
As Pastor of Grace Chapel, my prayer is that we together would have
a personal acquaintance and daily experience with Jesus. This is
Paul's major passion, to get more knowledge of Christ by experience.
By being joined with Him, or being found in Him and with one
another. I believe that until I recognize and celebrate the gifts in
my brother and sister do I get to see Jesus in His fullness. We
together will show to the world the character and nature of Christ.
