Walking with God in 2008

More than the importance’s of have a revival or an out pouring of God’s
power which is needed in our lives daily. We need to learn to walk out our
faith on a daily moment basis.
We read in Gen. 5:22-24, “And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat
Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three
hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were
three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was
not; for God took him.”
My hearts cry for myself and each one of you is that we know what it means
to walk out our faith in 2008. Let me try to share with you what I believe
it means.
1. To walk with God, is to set God always before us, and to live our lives
as those that are always under his watchful eye.
2. It is to live a life of communion with God, both in our personal and
public life
3. It is to make God's word our rule, and his glory our end, in all our
actions;
4. It is to make it our constant care and endeavor in every thing to please
God, and in nothing to offend him;
5. It is to comply with his will, to harmonize with his designs, and to be
workers together with him.

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.. I believe
that as each one of us determine to walk with God as Enoch we will be
overcome with the presence of God and people will not see us but God in all
His glory.

Like the prophet Isaiah said in Isa 61:10 “I will greatly rejoice in the
LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the
garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth
herself with her jewels.”

He hath clothed me… He hath covered me. With the garments of salvation and
with the robe of righteousness. This year we are changing our garments form
man made religion, selfness and pride to salvation and righteousness.
People will see what true salvation and righteousness is all about. We will
be wearing it. Every where we go God’s character and essence will be seen.
Even so Lord do it.

We will see what it really God meant when he told Moses “that as surely as
I live all the earth shall see the glory of God.”
As David said “I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my
right hand, I shall not be moved.” Ps 16:8 I will walk before the LORD in
the land of the living. Ps 116:9
As God told Moses it shall happen to each one of us as we allow God to be
God in our lives “Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God
hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and
that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.” De 5:33.

God whispers in your soul and speaks to your mind. Sometimes when you don't
have time to listen, He has
to throw a brick at you. It's your choice: Listen to the whisper, or wait
for the brick!
